“Horses” by the Dirty Three is definitely one of the albums we’d need if stranded on a deserted island. We love everything about the Dirty Three- their incredible live performances, Warren’s amusing stage banter,  the nuances of their studio recordings and the impressive collaborations they’ve done outside of the band. They’ve been so busy with other projects that we were starting to wonder if they’d ever release another album (it’s been  7 long years since “Cinder” was released) but to our elation they are releasing a new studio album out on Drag City February 28th-”Toward the Low Sun”-  MP3 of “Rising below” available here. Can’t wait for the tour.
