We Salute You Malcom

Extremely sad news- At present Malcom Young is not able to record or play live due to complications from a stroke suffered recently. AC/DC have decided to essentially call it quits because of this. It’s a HUGE blow to rock fans, but it is the right move. While Angus gets all the attention for good reason, Malcom’s been the machine- the driving force of AC/DC. He’s the Johnny Ramone of the band. And like the Ramones, what’s made AC/DC one of the most beloved rock acts is their “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” ethos. Very few can say they’ve continually delivered the goods for almost 40 years. There will never be another AC/DC and no one will ever play rhythm guitar like Malcom- he was the best. Here’s a great article about Malcom and his significance. He’s always been our favorite- we are shattered over the news.
